Had some doubts based on some of the earlier reviews. Just go to this place. Pictures do not do it justice. Rhonda and Philip are amazing and so helpful! We will be back and we are sending our friends and family!

We spent Christmas (my husband and I and our grown daughter) in this beautiful property… The beds and bedding were incredible/like sleeping on a cloud!!… We met our hosts and they were incredibly gracious and helpful. The location was great and only a very short walk to beach. I would highly recommend to small family or two couples…we loved it!!

I visited for a week last summer with some good friends of mine. We had a great experience and loved every minute. It was very convenient, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that I know. I hope I get to go back and stay again soon. Thanks for having us!

I have been a guest at Island Hideaway twice now and absolutely loved it each time! The location is perfect! Only a short walk from the beach, located on a nice quiet street and conveniently located near restaurants, fishing spots, and a grocery store. The condo is beautifully decorated with all the personal touches that make it feel like your home away from home. Definitely the place to go to get away from the chaos of everyday life and relax and absorb the peace and serenity of beach living. I honestly can’t say enough great things about the time I have spent at Island Hideaway and can’t wait until my next visit!

This is by far a 5 star beach house with beautiful landscaping & beautiful palm trees on either side of the huge driveway. I have to say that Island Hideaway was an awesome place to stay. I have stayed a lot of places and this is by far the most comfortable with all the amenities that you could ever ask for. The bed & sheets are to die for. The decor is just beautiful. This really feels like a home away from home, but much better. The beach is a really close walk and it is simply beautiful. We stayed for 7 days & definitely could have stayed a lot longer. There are lots of things to do in Ft. Meyers Beach & not far from other places like Sanibel Beach where it is just gorgeous. There are not enough words to describe the Host & Hostess of Island Hideaway they will make you feel so welcome. We can’t wait for our next visit.

My wife and I needed a couple of days off by ourselves. The Island hideaway is truly a gem. We enjoyed the solitude, the beach and each other. Thanks Rhonda for a wonderful stay.

We spent five nights there in December 2010. The unit was cozy and we stayed in a lower unit. The location is 230 yards to the beach which really is good exercise. The owners are extremely accommodating and helpful.

Nice, clean apartment. Updated interior and kitchen. Plenty of towels and pay-for washer/dryer attached. Free use of pool, paddle boats, kayak & fishing poles.
